  The cashier was very antipathetic, showing no patience for non-German speaking people.

  This place might be convenient and popular - but don’t expect any of the staff to be polite, smile or be friendly in any way. In fact, expect the opposite - if this place were anywhere but a Bahnhof, the entire staff and managers would be replaced.

  Best place in Basel to buy food, drinks or anything after 8pm when most of the other stores are closed. This opens until 11pm.
