::Why would one want to stay anywhere else in Lausanne? Alpha-Palmiers is well-positioned, clean, quiet, airy, unpretentious with a unfailingly positive and pleasant staff, and a good restaurant. If only all hotels were like this!

::Good place for holding conferences and meetings. Well-maintained and good use of natural lighting. Very close to the train station. Food options are good but a bit more oil than needed.

::Ok hotel located a stone’s throw from the train station of Lausanne. Although it tries hard to be an “upscale” designer hotel, really, it isn’t. It’s more of a business friendly hotel, good for the corporate crowd and small to medium conferences. It’s basically a more stylish modern version of a Hyatt or Marriott. The major positive of this hotel is they have a really nice outdoor terrace nestled in a nice Asian themed garden complete with zen like river. It’s a slice of heaven in the middle of an otherwise busy city

::It's a very nice hotel, spacious room with comprehensive hotel amenities and very close to the train station. It's also very affordable, cheaper than most of the other hotels I stayed in Switzerland. Only downside is you need to climb a steep slope from the train station to get to the hotel. Dragging a heavy luggage is not the easiest thing to do. Still, it's highly recommended and I would stay at this hotel again.
