  Such a lovely stay. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The bread at breakfast is incredible. The only downside was the temperature in room (108). The aircon wasn't strong enough and at night I was unable to leave the windows because of the noise coming from the pubs outside. Nevertheless, I will stay here again.

  The hotel is conveniently located near the Zurich central train station, and the rooms were clean. The receptionist, Lisa, gave very poor service. No courtesy of responding to a greeting of good morning/afternoon. When I inform her that I am expecting a few friends/guests to stop by to see me since I am in town, she makes false claims saying I am not allowed to meet with my friends/guests in the hotel room. She claims that hotel rooms are meant only for sleeping and not for meeting others. I have been traveling globally for over 10 years, and have yet to enter a hotel who doesn't allow me to see my friends/guests in the room, which I have paid in full for. I ask her, where on the hotel's website/policy does it say I am not allowed to meet my guests in the room? To which she says, it’s just understood to be like that everywhere. Sorry Ms. Lisa, but you are being delusional. To top it off, she feels the need to reprimand us after we expressed our displeasure regarding her claims. On a positive note, all the other staff were splendid, and were extremely polite & helpful. The breakfast was poor, with contents looking and tasting stale. The selection was limited and items on the buffet were refilled infrequently. The mini muffins in the breakfast were hard as a rock. I was unable to cut into it with a knife, and could bang it on the table multiple times and it would not budge. The room was quite warm. I stayed in spring time & the days were very sunny. The "air conditioners" in the room barely spewed out any air, thus making the room feel warm and suffocating if the windows were not open. Additionally, the hotel is located beside a street full of nightlife. This made it loud at night making it tough to sleep, more so with the windows open. Overall, the experience could have been much improved.

  This is a good pic for a medium class, clean and well run hotel that is close enough to the train station (walk or tram) and well situated to town. The rooms are big and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. The one negative is that the close proximity to a major tram stop make it a tad noisy if you like to have open windows at night.
